Volleyball: Three former Loyola players to play for NCAA championship

Three former Loyola High volleyball players are participating in Saturday’s NCAA championship match.
Playing for Stanford is Steve Irvin, the 2010 Southern Section Division 1 player of the year. On Loyola of Chicago are Peter Jasaitis and Jagger Kroener. Kroener played on Loyola’s 2012 regional championship team.
Jasaitis was a starter for Loyola’s 2009 Southern Section championship team.
The match is set for Saturday at 5 p.m.
