West Valley Christian overcame a three-point deficit in the first quarter to beat Camarillo Christian in a Christian Schools Athletic Conference game Wednesday.
The Seekers outscored Camarillo Christian by four points in the second quarter to take a 15-14 lead into halftime. In the fourth quarter, West Valley Christian put on a full-court press that forced eight turnovers.
Trinette Waters led the Seekers’ scoring with 13 points and snagged nine rebounds. The win improved West Valley Christian’s record to 3-0 in the league and 6-0 overall. Camarillo Christian, meanwhile, fell to 0-2 in the league.
