Palisades 41, Jordan 12--Junior quarterback Perry Klein completed 46 of 49 passes for 562 yards and 6 touchdowns in the Crosstown League game at Palisades. Klein broke the national single-game record for most completions. The old mark was 41, set by Dave Geissler of McDonell Central in Chippewa Falls, Wis., in 1981. The state record of 39 was set by Erik Geiger of Laytonville in 1985. Klein also broke the state single-game passing yardage record of 546, set by Steve Woodward of Tamalpais in Mill Valley in 1966. The national record is 588 yards, set by Dwain Frazier of Elmore High in Houston in 1968.
