Carlos Monzon, former middleweight boxing champion, was given his second prison psychiatric test since being arrested for allegedly pushing his third wife off a balcony to her death in Mar Del Plata, Argentina, on Feb. 14.

Monzon’s defense attorney, Horacio de la Canale, said he will await the results of the test before deciding on steps to take to try to win release of his client.

Monzon, 46, who held the world middleweight title for seven years before he retired as champion in 1977, was ordered held without bail Friday on a charge of second-degree murder. If convicted, he faces 8 to 25 years in jail.
