Tight end Mark Bavaro of the New York Giants will not play again this season because of a knee injury that has sidelined him since October, Coach Bill Parcells said.
Bavaro injured his left knee Oct. 22 in a game against the San Diego Chargers. The injury was considered a strained ligament at first, but doctors later found ligament damage in the front and back of the knee.
