Irvine Women Edge UNLV in Tennis, 5-4

The doubles team of Erin Abe and Biljana Korac won, 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, to give UC Irvine a 5-4 victory over Nevada Las Vegas Sunday in a Big West Conference women’s tennis match.

Irvine’s Michelle Foster and Ali Yoshimoto won the No. 2 doubles, 7-5, 6-1. Melissa Vaccaro, Jennifer Mazgedian and Korac won singles matches for Irvine (1-2).
