Birmingham 42, Canoga Park 18--The undefeated Braves (6-0, 4-0) scored 22 unanswered points in the third quarter to defeat the host Hunters (1-4, 1-3).
Leading, 20-12, at halftime, the Braves scored on their second play from scrimmage in the third quarter, on a 70-yard bomb from quarterback Vince Lampkin to receiver Patrick Abdelkerim.
The Braves then scored on a one-yard run by Zawayne Scott and a 24-yard fumble return by Erik Williams.
Quarterback Adam Ferris led Canoga Park, completing 10 of 17 for 153 yards and a touchdown. Ferris also ran for one touchdown.
Keith Jardine scored on a 35-yard fumble recovery in the second quarter for Canoga Park.
