Center Jeff Bostic, guard Russ Grimm, tackle Joe Jacoby and tight end Don Warren were among players left unprotected as Plan B free agents by the Washington Redskins. Other unprotected players will include linebackers Monte Coleman and Matt Millen, running back Gerald Riggs, defensive end Jason Buck, backup quarterback Jeff Rutledge, guard Mark Adickes, tight end and long snapper John Brandes, and defensive backs Sidney Johnson and Alvoid Mays.

Team sources said that nearly all of those players except Riggs, who wants a starting job, are expected to remain with the team.
