Freshman Angie Fancuberta pitched a four-hitter to lead Fullerton to a 1-0 victory over first-place Sunny Hills in a Freeway League softball game Tuesday at Sunny Hills.
Bernie Fancuberta, Angie’s older sister, allowed three hits, struck out seven, and walked one for Sunny Hills (8-9, 4-1 in league).
Fullerton (10-13, 2-3) scored its only run in the fourth. Deborah Hargraves led off with a single, stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error, then scored on Nicole Wangler’s ground out to third.
