Orange Lutheran Staves Off Village Christian, 19-13

Orange Lutheran High held on for a 19-13 nonleague victory over Village Christian at Kennedy High on Saturday when Crusader quarterback Chris Coleman’s pass on fourth and 12 fell incomplete with less than one minute to play.

Jacob Funk had 89 yards and one touchdown in 24 carries and Ignacio Brache booted field goals of 35 and 42 yards for Village Christian (1-3), which trailed, 19-0, at halftime.
