Solis and Kingdom Found Win the Oak Tree Feature

Kingdom Found went back to his winning ways Friday, beating 4-5 favorite Powis Castle by 3 1/2 lengths in the $55,000 feature race of the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita.

Alex Solis, riding his third of four winners on the card, was aboard as the gelding broke a five-race winless streak that dated to July 30, 1994.

Powis Castle, ridden by Paul Toscano, was second by 2 1/2 lengths over Region in the race for 3-year-olds and up.

Carrying 115 pounds in the 6 1/2-furlong event, Kingdom Found was clocked in 1:15 1/5 in winning for the seventh time in 18 career starts.

The winner paid $14.20, $5.20 and $3. Powis Castle paid $2.80 and $2.40. Region, ridden by Laffit Pincay Jr., paid $2.60.
