Bonny Good Night for Sanchez, St. Bonaventure, 43-8

Teohua Sanchez scored on a quarterback sneak and threw a touchdown pass as St. Bonaventure scored on four of five first-half possessions en route to a 43-8 nonleague victory over Bell-Jeff Saturday night at Burroughs High.
Sanchez completed nine of 10 passes for 122 yards before he was replaced by Chris Lombardo with 4 minutes 37 seconds remaining in the second quarter. He returned briefly to engineer an 80-yard scoring drive in the third quarter and finished 11 of 12 for 150 yards.
Andre Pinedo rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns in 24 carries for St. Bonaventure (2-0).
Joe Byrum caught five passes for 70 yards and Pepe Villasenor added five receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.
Bell-Jeff (0-2) scored on Alex Roldan’s three-yard pass to David Barsumyan on fourth and goal with 28 seconds left in the game.
