GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP

In Garden Grove League girls’ volleyball:

La Quinta 3, Santiago 2--Becky Yong had 15 kills and Bonny Shum had 10 for La Quinta (2-3, 1-1), which won, 15-13, 10-15, 15-6, 6-15, 15-3. Barbara Sualua had 12 for Santiago (1-3, 2-0).

Pacifica 3, Bolsa Grande 0--Erika Weinman had 12 kills and Ami Czarnowski served six aces for Pacifica (2-1, 2-0), which won, 15-1, 15-5, 15-7.

In nonleague girls’ volleyball:

Cypress 3, Cerritos 0--Amanda Sellers had eight kills, Kristy Schmitz had 14 assists and Lisa Jones had six aces for Cypress, which won, 15-7, 15-7, 15-3.

San Clemente 3, Marina 0--Kimberly Noble had eight kills and Katy Daly had seven kills and eight aces for San Clemente (1-3), which won, 15-10, 15-5, 15-4.

Sunny Hills 3, Aliso Niguel 0--Jasmine Raphael had eight kills, three aces and two blocks for Sunny Hills, which won 15-4, 15-5, 15-3.
