Moorpark 41, Channel Islands 14--Running back Rey Corpuz scored three touchdowns and Matt Broussard threw for two scores for the Musketeers at Moorpark.

Corpuz rushed for 132 yards in 15 carries, scoring on runs of one and three yards. He also had a 20-yard touchdown reception with eight seconds left in the half that pulled the Musketeers even, 14-14.

Broussard completed 13 of 18 passes for 296 yards, including an 82-yard scoring pass play to Scott Rollins. Rollins had four catches for 149 yards.

Phillip Burton of Channel Islands (1-2) had a 10-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Augie Castaneda’s six-yard scoring run in the second quarter gave the Raiders a 14-7 lead.

Linebacker Alex Lerma of Moorpark (1-2)apparently suffered a broken left leg in the first half and was taken from the field by ambulance.
