Baseball: Anthony Chevrier is new coach at Agoura

Agoura has hired former South Pasadena Coach Anthony Chevrier, 31, as its new baseball coach. He replaces Mike Cordero, who resigned to become coach at Loyola.
Chevrier, a former Chatsworth player, beat out several good candidates for the position. He guided South Pasadena to two playoff appearances in four years as coach.
