Baseball: La Mirada’s Kim Brooks won’t coach in playoff game

Kim Brooks, the athletic director and baseball coach at La Mirada, will not be in the dugout for his team’s Southern Section Division 2 playoff opener on Thursday while the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District investigates his conduct, according to the Whittier Daily News.
The paper posted an audio recording of a coach it identified as Brooks lambasting his team in a profanity-laced tirade.
