Baseball: Local players named freshmen All-Americans
The Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American team includes several former Southern California high school baseball standouts.
Named to the team were Phil Bickford (Cal State Fullerton, Oaks Christian), A.J. Balta (Oregon, Valencia), Aaron Barnett (Pepperdine, Capistrano Valley), David Fletcher (Loyola Marymount, Cypress) and Jeremy Martinez (USC, Mater Dei).
