Baseball: No. 1 JSerra clinches share of Trinity League championship behind sidearmer Collin Quinn
When sidearmer Collin Quinn is on the mound, No. 1 JSerra is very tough to beat.
Quinn threw another shutout on Monday night to help the Lions clinch at least a share of the Trinity League championship. The Lions have a three-game lead with three to play.
The sidearmer improved to 10-0 by throwing a five-hit shutout in JSerra’s 5-0 victory over Servite. He struck out seven and walked one.
Royce Lewis had two hits and two RBIs. Brady Shockey had two hits and two RBIs.
The Lions are 21-6 and 10-2 in league. They have a makeup game against St. John Bosco and two games left against Servite.
