Baseball: SoCal connection helps Emory advance to NCAA Division III World Series

Connor Dillman, a Harvard-Westlake grad, improved to 9-1 on the season and won his second game of the South Regional, pitching five innings on three days rest to help Emory University defeat Bridgewater, 5-2, on Sunday to earn a berth in the NCAA Division III World Series in Appleton, Wi.
Another Harvard-Westlake grad, Wes Peacock, had two hits and an RBI. A third Harvard-Westlake grad, Hans Hansen, is 8-2 on the season.
There are nine Southern California players on the roster. Brett Lake from Campbell Hall leads the team in hitting with a .444 average.
