Boys’ basketball: Fairfax is 19-0 after 90-40 win over University

Fairfax continued its fantastic start, improving to 19-0 with a 90-40 Western League victory over University on Wednesday.
Donald Gipson scored 25 points, Isaiah Ajiboye had 16, Foster Dixson had 15 and Lindsey Drew added 12 points and 12 rebounds. Fairfax will play host to Westchester on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in a showdown league game. Westchester defeated LACES, 69-28, with Keith Fisher scoring 16 points.
In the East Valley League, Cesar Reyes scored 25 points in Poly’s 81-48 win over North Hollywood.
In the Marine League, Narbonne stayed unbeaten with a 77-33 win over Banning. Sophomore Psalm Maduakor had 13 points.
In the West Valley League, Taft defeated Cleveland, 73-46. Granada Hills defeated Chatsworth, 64-53. Jason Horosny had 18 points. Michael Kalu added 17. El Camino Real defeated Birmingham, 62-35. Juhwan Harris had 18 points.
In the Coliseum League, Lafayette Dorsey scored 17 points in Dorsey’s 60-54 win over View Park. Dorsey plays Crenshaw on Friday night at Crenshaw for first place.
