Boys’ basketball: Orange Lutheran moves into second place in Trinity League

In the battle for second place in the Trinity League, Orange Lutheran triumphed over Santa Margarita, 67-49, on Wednesday night.

The Lancers’ defense on the Rasheed brothers was outstanding, with Chris Williams and Joseph Riley taking on the role of defensive stoppers. Noah and Kaden Rasheed were limited to five points and no field goals. Orange Lutheran (16-3, 3-1) had four players reach double figures: Rogers Printup, Keisean Lucier-South, Zac Jervis and CJ Hankins. Servite defeated JSerra, 84-65. Trevor Treinen had 17 points and Cameron Griffin 15.

In the Mission League, Chaminade defeated Notre Dame, 72-57. Michael Oguine scored 26 points.

Alemany moved into a first-place tie with Crespi after a 76-39 win over St. Francis. Daron Henson scored 20 points. Earnie Sears had 14 points.

In the Del Rey League, Cathedral defeated Cantwell-Sacred Heart, 57-50. Milan Acquaah had 20 points. Jacob Davison led Cantwell with 20 points.

Price defeated Oaks Christian, 64-45. Roderick Williams and James Washington each had 18 points.

Brian Low scored 21 points in San Marino’s 61-51 win over Blair.

Flintridge Prep defeated Firebaugh, 62-57. Andrew Tsangeos had 27 points and Dante Fregoso 20.
