Football: Former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame athlete Josh Anderson gets college scholarship

For three years, former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame football player Josh Anderson has been a walk-on scout team player at the University of Notre Dame. In other words, he’s been grinding behind the scenes.

But Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly recognized his contributions on Wednesday by awarding him a scholarship for his senior year.

Anderson was an all-Serra League pick at Notre Dame in 2011. He also was a shotputter and outstanding in the classroom.
