Football: Los Alamitos deserves attention

Los Alamitos (6-1) is getting better, which means people in the Sunset League and the West Valley Division had better start paying attention.
In a 62-27 win over Newport Harbor last Friday, the Griffins rolled up 600 yards in total offense, including 340 yards rushing.
Denzel Brantley rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns.
Junior quarterback Jack Telenko completed 14 of 17 psses for 260 yards and one touchdown.
Matt Locher returned an interception for a touchdown, rushed for three touchdowns and had nine tackles on the night.
