Football: QB Coltin Gerhart transfers to Vista Murrieta
As expected, Norco senior quarterback Coltin Gerhart has enrolled at Vista Murrieta, giving the Broncos an immediate boost at a position where there was no returning starter.
Gerhart will need Southern Section clearance to gain eligibility.
“We’re trying to get him comfortable in what we’re trying to do,” Coach Coley Candaele said Wednesday after Gerhart’s first practice.
Gerhart’s father, Todd, the former Norco coach, told the Riverside Press-Enterprise the intention is for his son to graduate early after the first semester and move on to college.
