Football: West Torrance (8-0) is No. 1 in Western Division

West Torrance (8-0) is ranked No. 1 in the Western Division, and so far the Warriors have demonstrated an ability to run and pass that opponents haven’t stopped.
Senior running back Brett Ojiyi has rushed for 910 yards and scored 18 touchdowns.
Senior quarterback Trevor Mallett has passed for 1,372 yards and nine touchdowns.
Coach Greg Holt said on defense, linebackers Isaac Fuentes and Benton Shortridge have been major contributors.
West Torrance also has received six field goals from kicker Scott McGraw.
Next up for West Torrance is a rivalry game against South Torronce on Friday night. The Warriors are trying to win the Pioneer League.
