Girls’ golf: Mission Viejo’s Brittany Farrell wins Southern Section title

Brittany Farrell of Mission Viejo won the Southern Section individual girls’ golf championship on Thursday, shooting a 66 at Talega Golf Course in San Clemente.
Diamond Bar’s Bethany Wu finished second with a 68. Erin Choi of West Torrance was third after also shooting a 68.
Diamond Bar, Mater Dei, Mira Costa and Walnut topped team qualifiers.
