Palm Desert coaches must like their school

Palm Desert High School’s basketball, football and baseball coaches have all been at the school for at least 20 years, giving stability to the programs.
In basketball, Don Brady picked up victory No. 400 in 27 years at Palm Desert.
In baseball, Darol Salazar has 500 wins in 27 years.
In football, Pat Blackburn has 130 wins at Palm Desert in 20 years.
They must like the heat and playing a little golf in their spare time.
