SANTA MONICA (1-1) vs. MOORPARK (2-0)

At Moorpark, 7 p.m.

Running backs Tim Holliday and Mario Mattison each scored two rushing touchdowns, quarterback Scott Altenberg passed for nearly 190 yards and three touchdowns and defensive back Derrick Stewart intercepted three passes in the Corsairs’ 42-14 victory over Compton last week. Moorpark beat Los Angeles Valley, 44-28, as quarterback Corey Tucker passed for 167 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 89 yards and another touchdown. Receiver Curtis Marsh had four catches for 135 yards and a touchdown. Moorpark’s Andy Petroski was three of three on field goal attempts.

* WEST LOS ANGELES (1-1) vs COMPTON (0-2)

At West Los Angeles, 1 p.m.

West Los Angeles lost a shootout to Ventura, 48-47, on a late field goal. Oiler running back Kevin Hicks rushed for more than 200 yards and three touchdowns, but the secondary was riddled for more than 370 passing yards and four touchdowns. Compton was pummeled by Santa Monica College, 42-14, last week.
