Oxnard 21, Dos Pueblos 10--Junior quarterback Larry Bumpus completed 16 of 29 passes for 271 yards, but it was his 15-yard scoring run with 1:40 remaining that capped a 21-point second-half comeback by Oxnard (4-0, 1-0).

Dos Pueblos (0-4, 0-1) scored its only touchdown in the second quarter when Andy Schulman blocked Abel Romero’s punt and Jorge Haro picked up the ball and ran 16 yards for the score. The touchdown gave the Chargers a 10-0 lead at halftime.

Oxnard senior tight end Chris Winters scored on two three-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter to put the Yellowjackets ahead.
