PREP FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Meschuk Scores Twice, Leads Whittier Christian

Running back Aaron Meschuk gained 92 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 30 and 17 yards to lead Whittier Christian to a 21-20 victory over Ayala Friday night in Olympic League play at Whittier College.
Whittier Christian (5-2, 1-1 in league) rebounded from last week’s 9-0 loss to Valley Christian as running back Jacob Cuccia added 116 yards rushing.
In an Arrowhead League game:
Capistrano Valley Christian 7, Sherman Indian 0--A second-quarter 23-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Mark Wilson to Bobby Birtwell was the game’s only score. The Eagles are 3-3, 3-0 in league.
