Moorpark 35, Kern Valley 7--Senior running back Bryan Wilkins rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns in 22 carries and caught three passes for 55 yards to lead host Moorpark.
Wilkins scored on runs of eight, six and seven yards. His eight-yard run with 6:14 remaining in the second quarter gave Moorpark (4-0) a 21-7 lead at the half.
Cornerback Tyler Dritz recovered a bad punt snap in the end zone to hand Moorpark a 7-0 lead. Dritz scored in the second quarter on a 75-yard run.
