Woodbridge limited Loara (6-5) to 19 yards passing and 91 yards rushing.

“We thought we could run against them and control the ball,” said Woodbridge Coach Rick Gibson. “In the first half, we killed ourselves [with penalties], but the offensive line was real big for us tonight.”

Woodbridge scored on its opening drive when Harris ran over from 27 yards, capping an eight-play, 72-yard drive.

Loara had a chance to score early in the second quarter when it moved the ball to the Woodbridge nine-yard line. But Tony Aparicio missed a 26-yard field goal attempt.

Woodbridge turned a Loara turnover into a score early in the third quarter to extend its lead.

Khemarak Tor fumbled on the Loara 19-yard line and Woodbridge’s Dan Bennett recovered.
