Out of Hospital, Brecht Rejoins Hart
Hart running back Billy Brecht was released from Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital early Friday after spending the night with a concussion suffered in an 18-14 victory over Westlake on Thursday.
Hart Coach Mike Herrington said Brecht showed up at game film sessions Friday afternoon at Hart and appeared to be fine. He said Brecht is likely to play next Friday against Palmdale.
Brecht left the Westlake game in an ambulance at halftime after chasing Westlake defensive back Joey Cuppari into the end zone on a 92-yard interception return. Brecht walked to the sideline after the play and nearly passed out, Herrington said.
