Friday’s top high school football games

Orange Lutheran (1-0) at Encino Crespi (1-0), 7 p.m.

With all the running expected from these triple-option teams, get ready for the fastest game of the season. Orange Lutheran must stop Crespi running back Jalen Starks. Crespi must contain Harvard-bound Orange Lutheran quarterback L.J. Northington. Marcus Moore returns as a defensive lineman for Crespi, boosting the Celts.

The pick: Crespi.

Anaheim Servite (1-0) at La Puente Bishop Amat (0-1), 7 p.m.

Trinity League teams went 6-0 last week, so the pressure is on Servite to represent the league against a top team from the Mission League. Bishop Amat lost to Santa Ana Mater Dei, 24-21, but should do a better job this week of getting the ball to big-play weapons Tyler Vaughns and Trevon Sidney. Tyler Lytle, Servite’s junior quarterback, passed for 424 yards against Fountain Valley.

The pick: Bishop Amat.
