Baseball: Playoffs begin in South Bay

The South Bay Summer Baseball League begins its playoffs on Wednesday.
Peninsula finished the regular season with a 9-1 record. Next best was North Torrance at 8-4.
The championship game will be Saturday. An all-star game will take place on Sunday, July 28, at Marine Park at 12:15 p.m.
