Football: Gil’Scott Jackson cleared to play for Oaks Christian

Oaks Christian and the Southern Section have cleared junior running back Gil’Scott Jackson to make his season debut on Friday against Venice for the Lions.
He played last season at Scripps Ranch in San Diego.
He would have had to sit out until Oct. 6 under the sitout period unless his family moved.
