Football: Oaks Christian’s Michael Pittman picks up UCLA offer

It was only a matter of time before 6-foot-4 junior receiver-defensive back Michael Pittman of Oaks Christian started a frenzy among college recruiters. It’s about to begin.
UCLA made an offer on Thursday, Coach Bill Redell said.
“He’s one of the top guys in the country,” Redell said. “He’s big, fast and can catch. He’s a unique player.”
He has 20 receptions for 407 yards and seven touchdowns this season for the Lions.
