Football: Chaminade defeats Hart, 28-10

Chaminade has beaten Hart 28-10 at College of the Canyons and will advance to next week’s CIF state Division II championship bowl game at StubHub Center in Carson.

Colorado commit Donovan Lee had 63 yards rushing and Miami-bound quarterback Brad Kaaya completed 8 of 16 passes for 87 yards and one touchdown for the visiting Eagles (13-2), ranked fifth in California by Cal-Hi Sports.

Cory Watkins rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, Keiran Yancy clinched the victory on a 21-yard run and Brayden Lenius had a 32-yard touchdown catch for Chaminade.
Brady White completed 22 of 44 passes for 248 yards and one touchdown with one interception and was sacked six times and Connor Wingenroth was limited to 39 yards in 17 carries for Northern Division champion Hart (12-3), ranked 19th in the state by Cal-Hi.
