Stanford to Play in Chaminade Tourney

HONOLULU — Stanford University will be in the Western Airlines Chaminade basketball tournament here Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Stanford joins previously announced North Carolina State, Nevada Las Vegas and Chaminade in the third annual tournament at the Neal Blaisdell Center.
In the first round Dec. 24, North Carolina State will face NevadaLas Vegas and Stanford will face Chaminade.
While in Hawaii, Stanford also will be in a tournament on the island of Maui planned by Hawaii Pacific College.
