St. Augustine 73, Granite Hills 58--Scott Georgens scored 18 points for Granite Hills. St. Augustine led, 30-29, at halftime.

Championship Bracket

Poway 59, Patrick Henry 54--Patrick Henry came out attempting to slow the game down and did a good job, leading, 6-3, after a quarter. But Poway had a 39-30 lead after three periods, and Patrick Henry had to foul. The Titans made 10 free throws in the fourth quarter win the championship. Greg Sorrell led Poway with 13 points. Jason Lonsdale had 19 for Patrick Henry.

Point Loma 48, Serra 38--In the third-place game, J.J. Stokes scored 14 points for Point Loma, which outscored Serra, 20-8, in the fourth quarter to win easily. Roderick Alexander led Serra with 12 points.

University City 79, Lincoln 63--Ray Hooper scored 27 points and Jerome Price had 22 to lead University City to a fifth-place finish. University City, trailing by two at the end of the first quarter, pulled to a 40-29 halftime lead. Andre Toussaint and Darryl McMillan each scored 14 points for Lincoln.

Consolation Bracket

Mt. Miguel 74, Valhalla 68--Mt. Miguel trailed, 39-33, at halftime but outscored Valhalla, 18-8, in the fourth quarter to win the consolation bracket championship game. Shannon Lafever scored 27 and Domingo Rivera scored 20 for Mt. Miguel. Valhalla was led by Tony Lee with 31 points.

El Capitan 62, Madison 43--El Capitan led by only four points going into the final quarter but outscored Madison 26-12 to widen the gap. El Capitan, led by Andy Berg with 18 points, finished third in the consolation bracket. John McKenna scored 13 points for Madison.

Helix 50, La Jolla 39--Gary Walton scored 13 points and Brandon Sanders scored 10 for Helix, which finished fifth in the consolation bracket. Helix led, 30-15, at halftime.

Mt. Carmel 60, Christian Brothers (Memphis, Tenn.) 58--Christian Brothers led, 36-26, at halftime, but Mt. Carmel pulled to a 42-42 tie at the end of the third quarter. Mt. Carmel (4-2) was led by Bill Wooton with 18 points and Shane Knight with 13.

Spartan Classic

Mira Mesa 85, El Cajon Valley 56--Mira Mesa, led by Marc Ziegler with 22, advanced to the championship game today against Oceanside. Jamal Purnell scored 22 for El Cajon Valley. El Cajon Valley will play Santana for seventh place.

Oceanside 70, Chula Vista 57--Carl Mathis scored 19 points and Marlin Jenkins 12 for Oceanside. Carnell Penn led Chula Vista with 21 points. Chula Vista will play Crawford today for third place.

Crawford 59, Hilltop 58--Tracy Halton led Crawford with 36 points. Chris White scored 20 for Hilltop. Hilltop led by two at halftime and score was tied, 44-44, going into the fourth quarter. Hilltop will play Coronado for fifth place.

Coronado 55, Santana 47--Adam Smith led Coronado with 20 points. Ross Piper scored 19 points for Santana.

Championship Bracket

Point Loma 61, El Cajon Valley 37--Tyeast Brown scored 25 points and had 13 rebounds for No. 1 Point Loma. Stacey Wainwright scored 14 points and Robin Rabello scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds for Point Loma. Debbie Duhaney led El Cajon Valley with 18 points. Point Loma led, 32-15, at halftime. The Pointers will play Poway, which defeated Mt. Carmel, 52-46, for the championship tonight at Point Loma.

Torrey Pines 49, Fallbrook 40--Karyn Armstrong scored seven of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as Torrey Pines broke a 33-33 third-quarter tie. Armstrong also led the No. 4 Falcons (6-2) with eight rebounds. Teammate Heidi Brownson added 10 points.

Rancho Buena Vista 65, Santana 54--Shawna Edge led RBV (4-3) with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Teammates Stephanie Howells and Dottie Fenney each scored 15 points.

Consolation Bracket

San Dieguito 65, Morse 43--Senior Connie Lucas led No. 10 San Dieguito (4-4) with 27 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Angela Young scored 15 points for Morse. San Dieguito, which led, 37-26, at halftime, will play Vista today at Point Loma in the consolation championship game.

Vista 57, Serra 50--Cindy Gerken led unranked Vista with 30 points. Vista led by only two until the final 1 1/2 minutes, then pulled away. No. 7 Serra (5-6) was led by Pamm Ross with 22 and Lynn Thoms with 18.

Mission Bay 43, Southwest 40--Mission Bay, which led, 25-20, at halftime, never had more than a five-point lead. Cyndi Cohen scored 15 points and Jeanine Seaman 11 for Mission Bay, which will play Patrick Henry for fifth in the consolation bracket today at Santana.

Patrick Henry 48, La Jolla 36--Jill Leininger led Patrick Henry with 16 points.
