Trump sends condolences to families of sailors killed in U.S. Navy ship collision

A day after the U.S. Navy released the identities of seven sailors who died in a collision involving the U.S. destroyer Fitzgerald and a container ship, President Trump extended his condolences to the victims' families.

The collision took place about 2:30 a.m. Saturday about 56 nautical miles southwest of Yokosuka, Japan.
