Street artist Sabo has again popped up in Hollywood ahead of an awards ceremony, this time preceding the Academy Awards with a riff on “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” in protest of child abuse in the entertainment industry.
Now he is looking for tickets to the Oscars, which he said he would attend with a particularly provocative guest: Milo Yiannopoulos , the conservative commentator and hell-raiser.
“MILO SAID HE'D GO WITH ME TO THE OSCARS IF I GOT THE TICKETS. CAN ANYONE SET THIS UP FOR US. WE'D BE THE BELLS OF THE BALL,” Sabo tweeted Thursday.
I'm not fearful of death, I'm really not. I'm just frustrated by the nagging demands of so much to do and so little time. When I was 40 looking at 60, it looked a thousand years away. Now 80 looks like a week away. I'm not going out with a whimper.
Quentin Tarantino’s next film will be titled “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” and will star Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, it was announced Wednesday by the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group.
The film has been shrouded in mystery and conjecture up to this point, with many rumors that it somehow related to Charles Manson and the Tate-LaBianca murders. According to the news release, the film’s release date will be Aug. 9, 2019, which is also the 50th anniversary of the shocking news regarding the murder of actress Sharon Tate and four others in Los Angeles.
In a news release, Tarantino describes the film as “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor … Sharon Tate.”
Barbra Streisand has been blazing trails in Hollywood for half a century, and she appears to be doing the same in the world of animal cloning.
In a new interview with Variety, the Oscar winner revealed that she had her beloved 14-year-old dog Samantha cloned — not once but twice.
Even though Streisand touched on topics such as the Hollywood’s gender inequity, the #MeToo movement and Donald Trump in the wide-ranging interview, the detail about her pups has sparked plenty of online chatter.
Where has Stan Lee been? Still home fighting “a little bout of pneumonia,” but he says it seems to be getting better.
“I want you all to know I’m thinking of you. Of course, I always think of the fans, and I hope you’re all doing well and I miss you all. I miss your enthusiasm,” the 95-year-old comics icon said in a video released to TMZ, which posted it early Wednesday.
Marvel co-creator Lee had spent a night in the hospital a few weeks back, shortly after attending the late-January “Black Panther” world premiere, KABC “Eyewitness News” reported Feb. 1. He had experienced shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
Rose McGowan’s lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss a drug-possession charge against her by arguing that cocaine was planted in her belongings, perhaps by “the Harvey Weinstein machine.”
The felony charge stems from an investigation of the “Charmed” alum's personal belongings that were left behind on a United Airlines flight from LAX to Washington Dulles International Airport in January 2017. Authorities said that cocaine was found in her wallet.
The allegations resurfaced on the heels of the Weinstein scandal, during which the outspoken actress was among the first to publicly excoriate the disgraced producer and ultimately accuse him of raping her.
