Writer Aaron Sorkin obviously knew Demi Moore was good for more than just sex in a movie. He also knew women in general (surprise!) could be quite useful in sans-sex cinema.

A male studio executive working on 1992’s “A Few Good Men,” however, was not as clear on that concept.

Welcome to the early ’90s, when Sorkin was adapting his play for the big-screen version that starred Moore and Tom Cruise.

Cardi B used to be an exotic dancer, y’all. She’s not trying to hide it, and she’s not going to stop mentioning it.

The problem, you see, is your attitude about strippers.

“People say, ‘Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper? We get it,’” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told Cosmopolitan in an occasionally NSFW interview for its April issue. “Because y’all don’t respect me because of it, and y’all going to respect these strippers from now on….”

Oscars producers keep lining up the talent for the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday, announcing another star-studded round of presenters that includes numerous past winners and nominees.

Producers have booked Emily Blunt, Sandra Bullock, Dave Chappelle, Eugenio Derbez, Ansel Elgort, Jane Fonda, Jodie Foster, Eiza González, Ashley Judd, Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, Lupita Nyong’o and Christopher Walken to present at the ceremony.

“These actors have embodied some of the most heroic, aspirational and indelible characters ever brought to the screen,” producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd said in a statement Tuesday. “In so doing, they’ve not only entertained the world, but illuminated the full range of the human experience.”

Stephen Colbert has some serious doubts about President Trump’s claim that he would have run into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the shooting earlier this month.

Colbert kicked off Monday night’s episode of “The Late Show” noting how, more than a year into his presidency, Trump somehow still manages to surprise him daily.

“I go to bed every night believing there's nothing he could say or do that could possibly surprise me,” said Colbert. “Then, the sun comes up.”

I’ve had to say to critics, ‘Who are you to criticize me if I’m reaching a million people?’ I‘m not going to dog someone if they’re doing that. But I can only think of my quest.

A play by Amanda Peet will replace Neil LaBute’s "Fat Pig" this summer at the Geffen Playhouse, the L.A. theater announced Monday, adding more mystery to the cancellation of LaBute plays at multiple venues.

Chrissy Metz of “This Is Us” was to have made her stage debut in “Fat Pig,” which was added to the Geffen schedule just two months ago. “Fat Pig” was to have replaced LaBute’s “The Way We Get By,” part of this season’s original schedule announced in February 2017

The Geffen did not offer an explanation for the LaBute cancellation and did not immediately respond to a request for an interview.

Actor Justin Theroux has been radio silent on social media since his split with Jennifer Aniston was announced earlier this month.

But with a little help from some friends, the “Leftovers” star made a triumphant return to Instagram on Sunday night: Theroux posted a bundle of photos of himself and perfect puppies from Austin Pets Alive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the euthanizing of adoptable dogs and cats.

“Texas!!!,” Theroux wrote in the caption accompanying his photos. “Another very inspiring visit with the incredible people and pups @austinpetsalive.”

Katy Perry made a surprise appearance at a benefit concert for survivors of the Thomas fire and the subsequent mudslides that devastated Montecito.

The Santa Barbara native performed at One805’s Kick Ash Bash in Summerland on Sunday that helped raised nearly $2 million for the community and its first responders.

“This means the world to me,” Perry told CNN. “This is where I flourish. My heart was broken by the tragedy, the mudslide. I’ll do anything to help this community.”
